The Fukuoka International Congress Center is located in Kyushu’s largest complex convention zone (composed of five facilities: Marine Messe Fukuoka Buildings A and B, Fukuoka Kokusai Center, and Fukuoka Sunpalace), and this zone is being redeveloped by Fukuoka City. It is also known as “Fukuoka’s Waterfront District”.

For this reason, the Fukuoka International Congress Center is a conference hall that is equipped with services and facilities that can be used globally.

1st Floor: The entrance is a large hall with 1,000m²

The entrance hall on the first floor has a large area of more than 1,000m², and the space of about 30m x 20m is used as a reception area. On the 1st floor there is a management office and the restaurant Raconter (casual restaurant).

The parking space in front of the entrance has 3 lanes and 12 large buses can stop at the same time. This parking space is not a parking lot.

2nd Floor: The multipurpose hall is a large space of 1,320m² and 9m high

The multi-purpose hall has an area of 1,320m² and a ceiling height of 9m, and can be divided into two or four. We can respond flexibly according to the purpose and scale of international conferences, exhibitions, receptions, etc.

Facilities include a 400-inch screen, large video equipment, sound and lighting control equipment, simultaneous translation booths (six languages), pits, batons, and 5t and 2.2t freight elevators.

3rd Floor: The main hall has a maximum capacity of 1000 seats

The main hall has 1,000 fixed seats and 6 wheelchair spaces. If you open the movable partition and use it together with the multipurpose hall on the 2nd floor (area 1,720m²), you can set up a total of 3,000 seats.

It will be a large-scale convention hall that can be used for international conferences, ceremonies, concerts, etc. It will also be a full-fledged hall with a calm atmosphere.

4th Floor: Medium and small conference rooms can be expanded to integrate the rooms

The small conference rooms are equipped with a variety of meeting rooms ranging from 45m² to 75m², and by connecting the rooms together, you can expand to 150m² for two rooms and 225m² for three rooms.

The middle conference room is 135m² per room, and can be expanded to 150m² for 2 rooms combined and 225m² for 3 rooms combined. Depending on the combination of meeting rooms, it can be used according to the format and scale, from small meetings and meetings to seminars, subcommittees, conferences, exhibitions, and receptions.

5th Floor: International conference room for international conferences

The conference rooms on the 5th floor are international conference room 501 with an area of 420m², two medium conference rooms 502 and 503 with 135m², small conference rooms 504 and 505 with 48m², and three rooms with 506 with 45m². It can be expanded to accommodate a wide range of events such as international conferences, seminars, and receptions.

The international conference room is equipped with a model video system, 250-inch screen, sound and lighting control equipment, simultaneous interpretation booths (6 languages), temporary power and communication boards, and batons. There are also two waiting rooms (5A and 5B) that can be connected.

It is located in Okihama-cho, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and is adjacent to Hakata International Terminal and Bayside Place Hakata.

It can be used for all kinds of events, such as the “exhibition function” for large-scale events and exhibitions, the “arena function” that can be used as a venue for athletics and volleyball, and the “hall function” for concerts.

In the case of athletics, a 200m track (6 courses) can be set up, and a 100m straight line can be secured. The auditorium can accommodate up to 15,000 people by combining fixed seats, electrically movable seats, and temporary seats, and the capacity for concerts varies from 11,000 to 13,000 depending on how the stage is constructed.

A split elevating stage (18.2m x 14.5m divided into 5) is installed in the center of the main stage. Depending on the combination of sliding movable seats, elevating seats, temporary seats, etc., various construction plans such as theater style and full flat use can be realized.

A large power supply is secured, and two grape trellis are installed to hang lighting fixtures and various devices. The reverberation time of sound in the hall is 2 to 3 seconds, and although it is a large hall, it also has excellent acoustic effects. A dressing room, a baton, and a looming stage are also set up.
