Composite convention zone around Fukuoka International Congress Center

The Fukuoka International Congress Center is located in Kyushu’s largest complex convention zone (composed of five facilities: Marine Messe Fukuoka Buildings A and B, Fukuoka Kokusai Center, and Fukuoka Sunpalace), and this zone is being redeveloped by Fukuoka City. It is also known as “Fukuoka’s Waterfront District”.

MEETING ROOMS

The East Building has 20 meeting rooms that can be configured to suit different requirements. Total meeting space is 25,000 ft² (2,300 m²), with pre-function spaces with natural lighting and artwork in all large, medium and small meeting rooms.

The Vancouver Convention Centre is committed to environmentally sustainable practices. For example, by installing a heat recovery system at the facility, this facility reducing greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 150 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent annually. This facility also purify water for living roof irrigation, etc., reducing the amount of fresh water used by about 70%.

The conference center consists of about 50 conference rooms of various sizes, including a 1,000-seat theater-style hall, with a capacity of 24 to 1,392 seats depending on the room layout. North is one of the largest multi-purpose halls in Japan. The first floor is a multi-purpose hall (including waiting rooms) with no pillars and a carpeted floor, and the second floor has 42 large and small meeting rooms. It can be used for a variety of purposes and styles, such as large parties, corporate conventions, and conferences.
