Please join us this fall in Chicago as we proudly present a JAPANESE SAKE TASTING & SEMINAR for industry professionals. The Consulate General of Japan at Chicago and Japan External Trade Organization are pleased to gather more than 30 sake brewers, importers and distributors to share their finest bottles from Japan with you.
Enjoy sampling a delightful array of sakes from across Japan and discover the next top seller for your restaurant, bar or store. Learn about the diverse types of sake and how to successfully incorporate sake into your beverage program from Sake Samurai and Founder of Urban Sake in New York City, Timothy Sullivan.

Two Seminars (Auditorium, 5th Fl.)
- 1:45PM – 2:30PM “Sake 101” – Are you new to the world of sake? Timothy Sullivan will help you understand what makes sake so unique and guide you through the basics of sake types and styles. Then discover your own personal favorite sake.
- 3:15PM – 4:00PM “Sake B to B” – Know sake already but wonder how to bring a great sake experience to your customers? One of the most respected experts on sake, Timothy Sullivan, will share his knowledge of talking about, presenting and selling sake. Your patrons will thank you!
This is a free event open exclusively to members of the trade by invite only. Advance registration required. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
